Terra Nova Scores
All students in grades 2 to 8 were tested in April 2010. The standardized test scores of our students continue to be above the national norms. This achievement is consistent with the excellent instruction that the students receive from their teachers in partnership with parents.
A Grade Equivalent (GE) indicates the year and month of school for which the grade’s level of performance is typical. For example, a Grade Equivalent of 5.7 is interpreted to mean that the grade’s achievement is at a level that is typical of classes who have completed the seventh month of Grade 5, the national GE. Our students in Grade 5 attained a Grade Equivalent of 8.0 in reading. This means that our fifth graders scored well above average in reading for fifth grade.
